About the Founders
The REDRHINO epoxy flooring company was formed in 2005 by Michael D. Kenealy, a former IT manager who saw an opportunity to create a different kind of business to meet the growing demands of construction companies and building managers.
Traditionally, epoxy flooring was installed and applied by small providers who didn’t always understand the delicate nature of the product. As a result, many epoxy coatings were installed incorrectly, leading to expensive replacement and maintenance work later. By applying some of the quality control and customer service methods he had learned in the technology world, Michael was able to launch a new kind of epoxy flooring company – one focused on professionalism, timely service, and precise work.
Amongst clients with complex commercial and industrial projects, this mixture has proven to be very popular. As a result, REDRHINO has grown in leaps and bounds, establishing itself as the leading epoxy flooring company in North America in just a few years. Rather than being content with that growth, Michael continues to look for new ways to improve the business and give clients even more value for their money.
Away from the office, Michael is a big believer in community service and finding the value in people – especially within his own team. He keeps REDRHINO involved in a number of community service efforts, and enjoys spending time with his family.
